Alitha is a diverse comic artist and inker who has worked on a variety of comic book titles which range from selected issues of "Dc's new 52- Batgirl", Marvel's Iron Man ,Thor, Graphic Illustrators "My Boyfriend is a Monster" series and Twisted Journey's # 12 " Kung Fu Masters". Alitha also illustrates and writes her own self published Manga series, "Yume and Ever" and is currently freelancing with Archie Comics/ Red Circle, illustrating "The Crusades".
After graduating with a Design Degree from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, Takashima worked as a stage set artist and a freelance illustrator before she founded and launched the avant-garde street art show troupe and studio Aozora Art on Tokyo’s Harajuku Pedestrian Street. In 1995, Takashima started drawing the semi-autobiographical manga Rica 'tte Kanji!?, which initially ran in Anise, a Japanese magazine for lesbians. Rica 'tte Kanji!? was compiled and released as an English-language graphic novel by ALC Publishing.

Fly teaches Comix Art Classes at the Lower Eastside Girls Club and recently established the LES Girls Comix Club. Fly is a member of the World War 3 Collective and is a comics artist, illustrator, painter, writer, musician and longtime squatter and activitst in the Lower East Side. She has been making zines since 1985 and comix since 1990. Other Projects include PEOPs, a collection of Portraits and Stories of People, collected in numerous zines and books, and UnReal Estate, A History of Squatting in the Lower East Side. Fly has been doing workshops and teaching at the Lower Eastside Girls Club since 2005 and loves nothing better than encouraging creativity and comics to a new generation of young women.

Her credits include: Tanzhaus NRW Interdisciplinary Works, Puffin Foundation grant recipient, The Brick’s Comic Book Theater Festival 2014 selected librettist for her project Hero How To and Indie Boots Theater Festival Finalist 2015. She will be attending Brooklyn college MFA program for Performance & Interactive Media Arts this fall.
