Curator: Ray Felix
Ray Felix is the Director of the Bronx Heroes Comic Con. After years of attending comic conventions in the East Coast, Felix decided that it was high time for the Bronx to have its own Comic Convention. Felix's goal is to educate the Bronx Community about Comics, Graphic Novels and to promote literacy through the arts. The concept of Bronx Heroes Comic Con is to create an atmosphere that will engage both fans and comic creators to become cognizant of the occupations and opportunities within the comics and story boarding industries. Ultimately, Felix wants Bronx residents to become self publishers and entrepreneurs. Ray Felix is a Bronx native and he is also the independent publisher of Cup O Java Studio. As an artist/ writer, Ray Felix has self published comics "A World Without Super Heroes", "No-1 Anthology"," God: The Second Coming", "O.D's Helpful Hints vol.1 & 2", "Bronx Heroes" "Runaway Slave" and "Bronx Heroes 2.0".

Chris Duckett is one of the original Cup O Java Studio/ Bronx Heroes Artists. He designed the look and feel for our original mascot BX Man. More importantly, Chris Duckett was the artist for Super Hero Killers, a one shot teaser mini comic. Currently, Chris working on Bronx Heroes King Size #1 World War Heroes
Trevor Von Eeden
Trevor Von Eeden is a veteran Comic Artist whose career spans 35 years in the comic book industry for DC comics. Trevor most recent published graphic novel "The Original Johnson" published by IDW. and "The Guardian" by Stan Lee Media. Trevor is also know for co-creating the legendary character Black Lightning for DC comics.
WILL EISNER
WILL EISNER was born in Brooklyn, New York. Eisner was recognized internationally as one of the giants in the field of sequential art, a term he coined.
In a career that spanned nearly seventy years and eight decades — from the dawn of the comic book to the advent of digital comics — he truly was the 'Orson Welles of comics' and the 'father of the Graphic Novel'. He broke new ground in the development of visual narrative and the language of comics and was the creator of The Spirit, John Law, Lady Luck, Mr. Mystic, Uncle Sam, Blackhawk, Sheena and countless others.

Hal Foster
Hal Foster, was a Canadian- American illustrator best known as the creator of the award-winning comic strip Prince Valiant, which influenced numerous artists and was adapted to film. Foster was 73 when he was elected to membership in Great Britain's Royal Society of Arts, an honor given to very few Americans.
Corey F. GOdwell
Corey is a Bronx, New York City native, an Illustrator and Graphic Designer. Having done work for Yellow Rat Bastard, Roc-A-Wear/X-Games, Funk Master Flex, Magnum Comics and Harlem Underground, amongst many others. An avid reader and collector of comic books (specifically superheroes and Sci-Fi) since the age of 7, Corey noticed the lack of Black characters being properly represented by the mainstream companies. Instead of complaining, he decided to focus on comics as a career and is co-creator of the independent Nukleus Comics with his childhood friend (DaShen) and is the writer and artist on the labels first release 'The Boy from Planet A' featuring a Black lead and cast. He is now immersed in the summer 2012 release of the follow-up NUKLEUS: 'Born Into This'. Corey is also developing and illustrating Butterfly Sundae and Wunderkind tri-montly and web series to launch on Graphicly in July.
N. Steven Harris
N. Steven Harris is a veteran freelance illustrator specializing in storyboards, illustrated print ads and comic book/graphic novel storytelling illustrations. Some of his clients include Pearson Learning, Simon & Schuster, EthiDolls, Ogilvy & Mather, Berlin Cameron United, J Walter Thompson, Digitas, Glaceau Vitamin Water, Marvel Comics, DC Comics, and other companies.
Dmitry Gubin
Dmitry Gubin is an accomplished artist in the areas of photography and painting for over fifteen years. In 2004, Dmitry Gubin worked on the "OD's Helpful Hints" vol.1 comic series for Cup O Java Studio. Currently, Dmitry has gone back to the drawing board to alongside Ray Felix to work on "Heavy Traffic", one of the new Bronx Heroes featured in Bronx Heroes 2.0. Dmitry is a graduate from the School of Visual Arts class of 2000.

Jack Kirby was an American comic book artist, writer and editor regarded by historians and fans as one of the major innovators and most influential creators in the comic book medium. in the 1960s, he and writer-editor Stan Lee co-created many of Marvel's major characters, including the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, and the Hulk.
Carl "CEEKAY" Kent
Carl developed an interest in art when his parents introduced him to paper to prevent him from drawing on the apartment walls. Later on Carl’s parents brought home Marvel and D.C. comics. Thus, began his love for reading and comic book art. In his junior high years, Carl wrote and drew his own super hero comics based on his classmates.
After junior high, Carl attended the High School of Art & Design, majoring in cartooning. This further developed his love for the art form. Continuing to hone his craft, he later attended the School of Visual Arts and Parsons School of Design, majoring in illustration and cartooning. Though Carl has sent submissions to many comic book publishers large and small, he still has a strong passion for drawing and writing his own creations. Carl has designed logos for up and coming record labels and has designed characters for established creators for future projects. He is currently working on creator owned projects such as Heroes of Q13, a martial arts space fantasy and the soon to follow St. Cloud, another martial arts adventure with a supernatural twist.

Alitha E. Martinez
Alitha E. Martinez is a comic book artist by trade having served time in the trenches penciling such titles as Iron Man, X-Men, Black Sun, Marvel Age Fantastic Four, and Black Panther for Marvel Comics; and Voltron for Devil’s Due to name a few. Her professional career began in 2000, before that she was a background artist on Daredevil and an Assistant Inker on Aquaman.

Roberto Williams is the photographer of the fan photo series "Fathers of the Bat". He is also a Performing Arts Teaching Artist for New York City Department of Education.
