Bronx Heroes is less than two months away!!!  We only have 15 tables left!  So get a move on.  Remember this year we're doing our very first Friday Bronx Heroes Happy Hour Mixer and Live Life model drawing session at the Bronx Museum the night before our big event.  It's on May 11th 2012, and you must bring ID if you wish to partake in the spirits.  Drawing sessions will be on a seperate floor from the Bar area so if you don't drink, don't worry, you're still welcome to draw.

Bronx Heroes is just 4 months away!  Very exciting.

Happy New Year 2012 from Bronx Heroes!
Another exciting year awaits us as we get ready to launch Bronx Heroes 2.0 #1 at the Bronx Heroes Comic Con 4 @ the Bronx Museum May 11th and 12th 2012.  The best part of it is that you can now have a part in it!  We are looking for a vote on the color of the costume for our new costumed character, "Black Power".  Originally we were going to have him in Orange, Blue and Red, but fans at New York Comic Con thought that he looked like a Black version of Wolverine.  That's not what I'm going for at all.  So I leave it to you the fans to decide the color for our new launch character by voting for your favorite color.  It's simple all you do is click onto our voting poll and choose the  color that appeals to you the most.  The most votes win.  The pay off is that you have a part in making "Black Power" one of the most appealing characters in comics for the 21st Century.  Thanks for your vote and don't forget to attend our 100% free comic convention on May 11th and 12th, 2012.

The NYC Comic Con opened October 13-16th and it was amazing! There was a ton of activities planned, panels and workshops which were great.! But lets not forget the costumes! Check out our photo gallery to see them. It was exciting to see a prominent Bronx presence at the convention. BX! This year Bronx Heroes teamed up with Baron Ambrosia to promoting his new comic book The Adventures of Baron Ambrosia, drawn by Ray Felix. It was a huge success, we had cocoa beetles, a jabinero pepper give away, rice wine fermenting in snake and an enthusiastic crowd. Can't wait till next year!  BX Heroes2.0's new character, "Heavy Traffic: The Last Bronx Hero", is a tale of  environmental and political activist, John Dominguez. Upon his release in prison, John  utilizes information he acquired from his cell mate  to take down a very large drug deal between the cops and local mobsters controlling the Hunts Point Docks.  John Dominguez doesn't stop the drug deal to end crime.  He's not that naive.  His intentions are to document, black mail and subvert these crooked deizens into a payoff.  A payoff that will bankroll his personal war of terror against the politicians and local law enforcement who allow
corruption to flourish in the streets of the Bronx.  Catch the sneak previews on our website: www.aworld withoutsuperheroes.com and on our comics tab on this site.
